

Rated by some as the most fuel-efficient auto company in the U.S. Honda goes head on with the the issues of fuel economy and emissions.
Honda is focusing on two alternative fuel technologies, natural gas via the "Civic GX" and hydrogen fuel cell FCX.
Honda has also taken the initiative of creating an infrastructure for hydrogen. Honda's idea is for individual refueling stations that provide heat and electricity for households as well as hydrogen for a H powered car.
The company has stated it has long term goals and wants to be the world's cleanest, most efficient manufacturer. It has promised to reduce CO2 emissions from its factories as well as its vehicles by 5 percent between 2005 and 2010. It has already reduced 5% before.
